ETC now offers the Live Tracking of your Corporate Data through World Watch.  Whether you have Ships, Trains, Shipments, or any info that you would like to track, this customization feature is now available.

This is a great way to notify your customers & associates of timely and important information about your company, your products, and your services.  

While the Live Tracking feature is pre-built into World Watch, the setup & maintenance is an extra customization feature that ETC will create with you. 

How it Works

The object is visually tracked through a display on the World Watch maps.  World Watch offers a variety of map selections, including World Views, Continent Views, Ocean Views, and Zoomed Views.  The object's course is then continually plotted on the map. 

World Watch tracks your Live Data in a variety of ways, and provides you with options on the “look” of the display.  We have provided you with 2 samples of this below. 

1.  Through a specially formatted Text File, which is setup to directly append the World Watch file.  This text is plugged into a Database and automatically tracks the location within World Watch.
OR

2.  Through a Database using an ODBC driver.  This automatically be imported through a system that is created and updated at a Specified interval of Time.

• A GPS System may be used for continuous tracking of the ship’s Latitude & Longitude.
• Destination cities may be plotted on the map & continually updated. 
• The location and destination of the item is displayed with Lines and/or Icons.  The icon, for example, could be that of a Ship, A Logo, a Colored Flag, etc. 
• Because the knowledge of accurate time plays an important role in international communication, Express Technologies offers World Watch in a number of languages. We want this product to be useful to everyone in the world, and therefore have made World Watch available in English, Japanese, German, French, and Chinese.

Weather Information:

View weather, temperature and environmental phenomena such as, El Nino.  Whether you have a permanent of dial-up connection, you can access ETC's Live Satellite Images and experience "The Living Earth.”
