user to continually track important international information at any
hour of the day. All of this information is tracked from specific
sites via the Internet and will run with any dial-up or permanent
connection to the Internet. Stay in Touch with the World around
you Internationally and Locally. With this very latest version of
World Watch, the user has access to Live and Updating Satellite
Images. While these map options do require Internet hookup (constant
or dial up), these images will update every 4 to 6 hours. The user
may choose from such maps as Cloud Cover, Air Temperature, Water Temperature,
Wave Heights, and Windpatterns.
The Cloud Cover Map Image displays current Cloud Cover around the
globe. Its accuracy allows the user to know weather patterns in every
part of the World.
The Wave Height Map Image brings the user Current and Up To Date Wave
Patterns of the Oceans and Seas. This Map Image was developed to allow
the user to view Windpatterns around the World.
The Water Temperature Map shows patterns of the El Nino Effect throughout
the world. The Colors on the Map change with the sea surface temperatures
to bring the user accurate temperatures of the Water.
The Dynamic Map Data feature of the new 5.0 allows the user to display
information at specific locations. This can include information such
as end of the day Stock Information, worldwide Currency, and Weather
temperatures at these specified locations. For example, you may display
the temperatures for Los Angeles, Sydney, London, and Tokyo on the
Map.
The Scrolling Marquee: This application works as a news informer of
any information that you are interested in, by displaying and scrolling
across the bottom of your screen. Through this, the user will be continually
updated with International News, Finance Reports, Currency, Stock
Information, Sports information, and much more. You may utilize
this World Watch feature to fit your interests and needs.
